Variability of leaves in nature
The leaves of plants have a wonderful diversity because plants are very good at making their own food, so they are called automatic food-making organisms, and the place where plants make their food is the leaves.
In the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll, plants use water and carbon dioxide to make their food into leaves in the form of glucose and then transfer it to other parts of the plant. The case is that they take as much sunlight as they can, take water from the earth, take it from the air through carbon dioxide stomata and make food.
This process has been going on since the plants were born. Coming and keeping the plants alive as far as the leaves are concerned, some of the leaves are flat and some are pointed, some are full of sap and some are small in size, some have gone below which have different shapes of leaves.
